Carib LPG Trading Ltd. is part of the Petredec group of companies.
Established in 1990, it is vigorously involved in the expanding LPG markets in the Caribbean and Central America. The company is an active participant in providing a quality service in a small but growing market, operating a number of dedicated LPG tankers in the area.
Most of the LPG is purchased from producers in Trinidad, Colombia, Venezuela and the USA. However cargoes originating in North West Europe, the Mediterranean, West Africa or other parts of the world are also acquired through Petredec and transported to the Caribbean and Central America.
By providing an efficient and reliable service, Carib LPG Trading Ltd. is helping to develop the growth in areas such as Dominican Republic, Haiti, Aruba, Panama, Costa Rica, Honduras, Guatemala, El Salvador and Antigua, among others. Customers include major oil/energy companies: ChevronTexaco, Shell, TotalFinaElf and Valero; state-owned oil companies: Recope (Costa Rica), Petrojam (Jamaica) and Refidomsa (Dominican Republic); and other private companies engaged in the importation and distribution of LPG.

Monaco
The closure of the London office coincided with the opening of the Monaco office in 2005. A smooth transference of all the trading and shipping activities previously carried out in London is fully operational in Monaco. Both small and big ship trading operations in the NW Europe, Mediterranean, West Africa, South America and the Atlantic basin are now controlled from this office.

Singapore
Since its incorporation in 1994 the Singapore office has established the Company in the FarEast, South East Asia, Indian Ocean and Australia Pacific LPG markets.
The company has secured long term supply and shipping contracts in the Middle East and Asia, as well as developing strong contracts/relationships with many downstream customers in Japan, Korea, China, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Australia, India and Indian Ocean islands, as well as East Africa.
With global warming becoming an increasing concern to many governments and LPG being an environmentally cleaner product than traditional domestic fuels, the forecast for the Asian and Indian markets is one of continued growth and Petredec, with a fleet of ships operating in the region, are committed to continued expansion of the LPG markets in the area.
