The Future
Petredec is set to construct an LPG terminal in Port Louis with completion due in 2012/13.
The management team at Petredec has always had a progressive attitude and a constant desire to take the company on to the next level.
With global success in trading and an established ship owner with an asset base in excess of $500 million, the company then looked beyond the ports our vessels were discharging in towards the LPG downstream market.
In June 2008, Petredec concluded the purchase of Chevron's downstream LPG
business on the island of Reunion in the Indian Ocean.
And with the approval of the Mauritius Government, Petredec is to go ahead with the construction of an LPG terminal in Port Louis with completion due in 2012/13.
Today Petredec is one of the world's largest LPG trading and shipping companies delivering in excess of 10 million tons per year to customers across 5 continents.
Petredec offers a modern, high quality fleet of gas tankers operating worldwide and, as a combined trading and ship operator, is able to provide a complete service of product and transport to the LPG and Petrochemical industry.
With offices in Europe, Asia and the Caribbean, the company can provide a creative and flexible worldwide service to all its customers.
