Since its incorporation in 1994 the Singapore office has established the Company in the FarEast, South East Asia,
Indian Ocean and Australia Pacific LPG markets. The company has secured long term supply and shipping
contracts in the Middle East and Asia, as well as developing
strong contracts/relationships with many downstream customers in Japan, Korea, China, Philippines,
Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Australia, India and Indian Ocean islands,
as well as East Africa. With global warming becoming an increasing concern to many governments
and LPG being an environmentally cleaner product than traditional domestic fuels, the forecast
for the Asian and Indian markets is one of continued growth and Petredec, with a fleet of ships
operating in the region, are committed to continued expansion of the LPG markets
in the area.
