STORAGE
Petredec is set to construct a 15,000 to 20,000 metric tonne LPG storage terminal.
In 2010, Petredec Investments Ltd, through its wholly owned subsidiary Petredec (Mauritius) Ltd, received a mandate from the Government of Mauritius for the construction of a 15,000 to 20,000 metric tonne LPG storage terminal.
The terminal is expected to be completed and fully operational by 2012.
The terminal will import and supply approximately 65,000 metric tonnes per annum of LPG to the State Trading Corporation of Mauritius.
The terminal will also act as a trading hub allowing the re-export of LPG in excess of 100,000 metric tonnes per annum to regional markets located in the Indian Ocean region.
